PhD Studentship on Fashion Product Visualisation

We invite innovative proposals that span research into the design, development and implementation of augmented reality technologies for the visualisation of fashion product, in partnership with Holition, an award-winning augmented reality company, supplying technical solutions to the fashion retail sector.

Garment fit may be an area of interest, whereby virtual garments must appear to fit to the physical user’s body shape. Project may however focus on using computer vision, machine learning and AI to interrogate issues surrounding data capture, realistic texture and surface modelling for virtual garments.

The successful candidate will join the research team of Challenge 4: Reimagining the consumer and retail experience of the Business of Fashion, Textiles and Technology.
